Day 2

Today was day 2 of the 90-day challenge. Overall it wasn't tough, but there are little things I'm going to have to learn to adjust to. For starters, I love to wake up late. 10 or 11am usually. However I had a long day ahead of me today so I woke up at 9:30 to work out. I did the cardio routine. I hate cardio. Hate it. Anything that makes these feet get up off the floor is so hard for me. I was sweating almost instantly, and I couldn't finish a lot of the exercises. But I pushed myself nonetheless. I had work today, and the schedule itself is sort of weird, so once again my eating schedule was off. Also, I rushed so fast to get ready this morning that I left my breakfast uneaten :( ...I was really sad about this because it threw everything else off. I really have to not only plan better, but actually stick with the plan I make as well. I had originally planned to get up at 8:30 this morning to start my day but once my alarm went off I laughed and thought "forget this", and I set it for another hour ahead. Also, since I didn't eat breakfast, I ate a little bit after dinner, at about 11, which means once again I have to make myself stay up late, until 2am. This sleeping/eating schedule needs to be different.
The little scheduling nuances are sometimes what kills my health kicks, because in my mind I would love to just sit doing nothing and be able to eat breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and dinner. However that's not realistic since I'm always everywhere doing everything. Tomorrow I am going to Cherry Hill late at night and staying over, then I have an interview there Monday morning and then am going to get an oil change. I'm trying to plan out the whole food schedule now, it's hard! Plus, I don't think I'm going to have time tomorrow morning to work out which would mean I have to work out tomorrow night. I think I'll bring my DVD to my friend's house and work out there right before bed...and also make sure I don't eat 3 hours beforehand. It all seems like a lot now but I have no doubt that I will get the hang of it before the 90 days is up haha.
Anyway, as usual, here is my daily food intake:

Breakfast:

-WAS SUPPOSED TO BE: 1 packet plain oatmeal with blueberries. (I ate about 2 spoonfulls)

Lunch:

-Big salad with spinach, broccoli, green beans, tomatoes, swiss cheese and chopped up chicken with a little bit of vinaigrette.

Snack:

-Low fat cottage cheese with blueberries

Dinner:

-Seasoned chunks of turkey with wilted spinach, tomatoes, swiss cheese and a pepper sauce in a whole wheat flatbread. ---This was actually REALLY tasty but I didn't realize the pepper sauce I found in the fridge was literally just hot pepper sauce. I used a ton of it and severely regretted it...

Snack:

-Apple

Snack:

-2 slices whole wheat toast with 2 tbsp. peanut butter (i only ate this since I didn't eat breakfast))

I didn't get to drink as much water today since I worked all day and didn't get the chance to really drink anything (I was working camera at an event so it's not really possible to get many bathroom breaks!) I drank one bottle, one glass and I'm almost finished with my second glass now. It's not SO terrible but it definitely could be better!!
As far as how I feel, I don't really feel more energetic yet, but I think it's because I JUST got back to working out and I'm making my body do a lot of work right now. Once it gets into a routine I know I'll feel better. My muscles are really sore though, so that's a good sign!!
Well, I'm off to watch netflix or something since I have 2 hours to kill. I'm on an X-files kick right now and I've managed to make it all the way from the very first episode to the beginning of season 7...2 seasons to go until I'm finished! Not that it's really anything to be proud of...:)
