As of today there are only 6 more days until I reach my 2-month mark (March 8th)...Actually, it really feels like it's been more than 2 months...I basically started the week I went to the Poconos in early January, which seems like forever ago already...But 10 pounds and 13 inches later I don't really mind how long it feels, because I'm actually accomplishing something! I went to spin again today, it was a VERY tough class this time around. 1) because our instructor likes to mix it up and 2) because I made it tougher for myself by adding more resistance on the bike...I've been taking this class for almost 2 months now so I don't want it to get easy for me.
Anyway, here is what I ate today:
Breakfast:
-1 packet plain oatmeal with 1/2 banana & 1 kiwi (chopped and put in oatmeal)
*So, bananas get sweeter when you nuke 'em. KIWIS DO NOT. note to self.
Lunch:
-Chicken parm sandwich (trader joe's whole wheat bun, 4 oz pesto grilled chicken, 1/4c fat free mozzarella, 1/4c fresh tomato sauce)
*This was amazing. Probably the best thing I've made with that marinated chicken so far.
Snack:
-2 pieces of Trader Joe's jelly-filled dark chocolate
*Not my favorite chocolates but I frieken bought a tubload so they will have to do.
Dinner:
-Chicken stir fri (4oz chicken, 1c stir fry veggies, 1 tbsp stir fry sauce)
*Could have used more stir fry sauce, but I'm going to stick with 1 tbsp because it's pretty high in calories.
Snack:
-1 piece whole grain toast with 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 sliced banana & 1 tsp agave nectar drizzled on top
*Sweet & salty! so good.
Another wonderful day! It isn't always easy, but I'm glad I'm able to suck up the cravings and just keep pushing on! I will probably be weighing myself at the end of this week, just cause!
